I have a Samsung R580 laptop with:
i5-m, nvidia 310m (with prop. drivers installed)
When I wake my computer from sleep and unlock it, unity launcher has strange artifacts instead of the icons, as seen in this pic: http://imgur.com/NPda7.png
I cannot seem to find any similar experiences on the forums or bug tracker, so I was thinking of submitting this as a bug as well, but I'm not sure exactly how I would go about doing this. I don't know if it's a bug with drivers or unity, for example. I also don't know if I should use the regular ubuntu tracker (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bugs)
Logging out and in fixes the problem, as unity is restarted. (On a sidenote, I would be interested in learning how to restart it without re-logging, all I can find in the processes is file and app daemons, none seem to obviously be the launcher)
