wanted to ask if u have a ubuntu live cd with virtual box installed and a microsoft xp vhd on the live cd, would possible to run the xp vhd on the live cd? And any downloading files, software installing and using, surfing online and other tasks are possible? any temp files on the vhd would write to the ram?

You can't fit Windows XP image on the cd to run from there, it takes minimum couple Gigs to install WinXP.

a good idea,but maybe it is difficult to make it .there are so many config files created on your disk after you install virtual box,and some of them are improtant modules to the system.so it will be a hard work.but this reminds me there is a mini windows system called "windows pe"and it is powerful and interestring .:guitar:

Would this possible to use the xp vhd on the live cd given all the gigs are satisfy?
