Hi,

I upgraded my netbook to UNR 10.10 with the new unity interface, and can't see how it is possible to run two instances of a program. The launch and running programs icons are combined, so when you click on the icon of a running program it brings the running application to the foreground instead of starting a new instance which is sometimes required.

For example I need two instances of the terminal to run, one configured as root and the other as an ordinary user.

Is there a way to launch two instances of a program in UNR 10.10?

Thanks

Garvan

PS. The answer is obvious, use the application launcher to start a second instance of the terminal. Should have spend more time tinkering before asking.
