I'm using dual boot with Mac OS X and Ubuntu. I just recently installed Ubuntu, along with ReFIT. The OS was working fine for awhile, but I had to restart because my root folder wasn't changing after trying to change the name.

Now, whenever I select Boot in Linux (in the ReFIT boot loader on start up) it just loads on the white screen (with the penguin in the center). It might just be loading a very long time, but I'd still rather not wait that long every time I switch.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

EDIT: It now seems to be stuck on the Ubuntu loading screen (the one with the big flash on it)

EDIT EDIT: I also get these errors:

"Could not update ICEauthority file /hometoronto/.ICEauthority"

"There is a problem with the configuration server.

(/usr/lib/libconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 exited with satus 256"

and

"Nautilus could not create the following required folders: /home/toronto/Desktop,/home/toronto/.nautilus"

And if you're wondering... I didn't have a keyboard during the installation, so I had to copy and paste something to fill out the personal info. I ended up with Toronto.
