I heard that unity will be the new ubuntu interface for both desktop and netbook, so I decided to give it a try. When it loads though it just shows a blank white screen, nothing else, and then I have to restart.
I know how to go back to gnome, which seems to be the answer most people are recieving. Anyone know a fix to this?
I heard something about mutter and gnome-shell, I don't know about mutter but I did try out gnome-shell once. I'm using the Nvidia accelerated graphics driver.

Thanks guys

I've since got it working, somewhat. I tried to install the -default-settings package for it and it works, I guess. There's still a whole lot of work to be done on it though that's for sure.
It now blinks white, then goes to it. But the interface is a bit slow and sometimes applications show and sometimes they don't. Sometimes it opens them and never shows them. When I click applications it doesn't show any as well.
Anyways thanks if anyone was trying to figure this out for me.
