Today I downloaded some new Ubuntu wallpaper from
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/60-most-execellent-ubuntu-wallpapers/
and I had a chance to show it off. I do volunteer work at the county jail, (I teach some classes). I use my Ubuntu 10.10 laptop and my desktop wallpaper go on the big screen when I do this. I got a lot of Wow's when it came up. See screen shot.

I think it's an awesome wallpaper, but I'm more interested in how you made you panels look like that :p

That wallpaper is nice, but imo there are much better ones on that site.

It is just the standard panel. With the show hide buttons and arrows. and I just added my apps to it that I use all the time.

How did you make them so small horizontally?

I'm not Irv, but right-click on an empty area of a panel, and set the size to 23px.

Not Linux-specific, but http://www.vladstudio.com/home/ offers a huge collection of wallpapers, most on the whimsical side.
