Greetings,
I'm running Xubuntu 10.10 fresh install on what I hope to be my media server. Installation went fine, I raided 3 1 TB drives for my media files. I had 4 Gb of RAM in the machine and had 2 more identical sticks. What the heck! Installed them. Now it is running very SLOW. Like it takes 20 minutes to boot. Running Memtest86+ now with no errors. Pull the extra 4 Mb of RAM? Do something else? Has me scratching my head! Thanks,
Tom
