hello der!! :)
i am currently using ubuntu 10.10 desktop edition and i recently noticed the net book edition option in the login screen.
i googled a bit on it an liked the screenshots. so decided to give it a try.
i dunno what the problem is but after i login, i just get a plain screen ( no application panel or the side panel )
but the options work.. i just don't see them on the screen.
like when i click on the left top corner, i get the proper window and i can start apps from it.. i just cant see the panel or the side bar.
and the other problem is that after any app is launched, i wont get the title bar also.. need some help there too.
any ideas what could be wrong??
thnx in advance!! :)

btw, here is a screenshot of the desktop. notice the bands at the top and the side. those are supposed to be my panels.. :( but no icons. if i click on the extreme top left i get the menu for selecting options like web music etc.
