I used to have Ubuntu 10.04 on my ASUS 1005HA netbook. Everything worked fine. I tried upgrading using the online upgrade to 10.10. After the upgrade was installed the bootloader would not launch Ubuntu 10.10. I then uninstalled Ubuntu. I then tried to install 10.10 from my USB stick. The installation process launches but I am not given the option to put Ubuntu 10.10 "alongside" Windows XP.
How can I resolve this?
