Hi! I'm completely satisfied with my 10.04 machine and would not like to upgrade to 10.10 as I've heard that it's audio recording functions aren't as optimal yet. Having said that, I still would like to know whether staying with 10.04 will still give me the updated versions of my favourite software [Ardour, JACK, etc.] even if I stay with 10.04.

Right now, I see that I will need to upgrade to every new version of Ubuntu in order for me to get the newest versions of the software I work with. While I know that I can download the software from their respective websites and install the debs on my own, I still think that having a single channel for upgrades is the way to go.

Thanks guys!
