Please help me to install

Hi to all,
I m new to this community and also a new user of Ubuntu.
I m using Google Chrome.Its great to work with it.But I m facing problems in installing extensions like informenter in firefox.I have already downloaded the informenter.xpi for it.But I don't know how to install it using terminal?
Please help me...........:(

From the problem you've raised, I believe you are trying to install an add-on extension to Mozilla Firefox - am I correct? If so, this would be as simple as searching for the add-on here (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/) and clicking the "Add to Firefox" button by which the installation process will soon take place.

Yes you are right.I m trying to install that add on but not in Mozilla firefox but Google Chrome.

I have got this add on in Chrome also.
