Hi there,
I've just installed new kubuntu 10.10 and swiched from hardy 8.04. When i run the livecd composition and visual effects are working and doing great.
I have intel 945 card so since the installation finished I've installed xorg xserver-xorg-video-intel package and added
Driver "intel" in xorg.conf Device section lub still visual effects don't work. Theoreticaly I can turn it on but then the message with information that some effects cannot be turned on appears and non of them works.
What's the difference between livecd and normal system, maybe i could copy some configuration files to get effects working?
