Windows Media Center

I tried installing Ubuntu 10.04 side by side with XP Media Center Edition and it failed saying that multiple operating systems were detected, showing Windows XP and Windows Media Center like two different partitions. However when I first run it, it shows only one operating system and it acts like it wants to install. After selecting the default partition size it waits a long time and come back up with this two operating system stuff.

Any ideas?

From the LiveCD can you go in the menus to System> Administration> Gparted and once it is opened maximize it, then hit print screen, then post the screenshot here using the paper clip icon to the right of the font color drop down.
