Hello people,
with the recent release I made a switch to Kubuntu, overall it works better on my HW (Toshiba Satellite A300 with Phoenix BIOS) than Gnome, but the screensaver behavior is very flaky. After the installation, I set up the screensaver, but it didn't work for about 4 days, then (without any change in configuration) it suddenly started working, but after 2 more days it stopped once again! I am not aware of doing anything that might have intervened with it. And again, I'm talking about ANY screensaver (not even blank screen), not just some special OpenGL one not working. The screen simply never blanks and the computer never suspends. Moreover, screen doesn't lock when I close the laptop lid (as configured)! Any help, guys?
