Canon MP130 driver installation for 64 bit for Maverick Meerkat

Hello to all,

I switched over to Ubuntu since Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala), released on 29 October 2009. I use the 64 bit version. I must say that Ubuntu rocks!!! I need help though with one little problem. I have read and tried to implement various solutions to installing drivers for my Canon MP130 Multi-functional printer, without any success. Can anyone please help?

I was able to get printer to work. Any help on getting the scanner to even appear?
XSane and Simple Scan wont show the scanner at all!!!

I have the same problem for mp110, no luck to find solution for scanner.
