I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.10 on a tablet pc. I have an external cd drive, that plugs in through usb, so I hoped that I could just run the cd with the extrnal drive. But, I'm getting this error when I try to install or run as live.
/casper/vmlinuz: file not found
I think that's something that comes with running from a bootable usb? So I'm not sure how to fix it. The BIOS doesn't have a "boot from USB" option. Any thoughts?
My next thought is to remove the hard drive, put it in my other computer, install Ubuntu, and switch it back. I have no idea if that would work though...
