Hi folks!
I am running in my laptop Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS and since I tried to install LyX I am having problems with tex-common and lmodern packages, so every time I try to upgrade my computer I am getting these kind of messages and the upgrades fail:
An essential entry is missing in /etc/texmf/texmf.d/55Fonts.cnf
An essential entry is missing in /etc/texmf/texmf.cnf
I have seen from this thread that it seems there is a bug:
http://superuser.com/questions/161547/tex-install-gone-wrong-on-ubuntu-10-04
But I tried all workaround solutions and still it does not work, I have to say also that I am newbie using Ubuntu
Well any ideas? Have you met the same bug?
Thanks a lot!
