Network card HELP

I am using a ACX 111 54MBPS wireless interface card but i cant get it to work im a complete novice to linux so i was wondering if there is a wireless card i can buy that works right out of the box?

Look at System> Administration > Hardware Drivers (if your using Ubuntu 10.10 is will be listed as: Additional drivers) Enable any listed there.

You may have to connect via Ethernet to enable the drivers.
