I've been searching everywhere for an answer to this. I've just started dual booting Ubuntu 10.10 and Windows 7. They are each on their own partition. I'd like to use one set of user folders between the OS so I have a single location for downloads from both windows and ubuntu for example.
I would like the Downloads, Pictures, Music etc folders in Ubuntu Places to link directly to the windows 7 user equivalents. I can access all the folders through the mounted partition but is there a way to effectively change the locations of the Ubuntu home folders to point at the windows partition instead.
