Why is this not on every news site from here to China?

I can't even find a link to a news article... Only this one, and it doesn't even have much info at all!


Google TV - the Web giant's software package for finding and watching TV programming over the Internet and through traditional subscription services - looks less vaporous now. Just in time for introductions of Google TV-enabled hardware from Sony and Logitech, Google announced further details about the platform it launched in May.

I did read the other day that many of the US network have withdrawn access to program for GoogleTV.

Watching TV on my computer,don't like the idea .First of all TV basically suxs.Then theres having to move my couch to line up with my computer. then small screen meaning squinting. then 2 bills one for Google and the comcast bill.Na just cant afford it.

same here, sounds like they kept it hidden.

Probably, "regular" television is practically obsolete these days. I rarely use mine anymore, I watch everything I want online through my computer. Of course companies that have invested so much in the old system don't want people to transition to internet television.

I don't even have a TV, though we never had satellite or cable connection when did have one.

Yeah it's been in the tech news for the last couple of weeks, since logitech and sony have announced hardware.
