Window Management - Alternatives for Mac/Windows Apps WinSplit, Cinch, Divvy, etc

I'm looking for a window management shortcut system, currently at work I use divvy (http://mizage.com/) (forced to use a mac). When I was a windows user I had a very nice autohotkey script. This functionality has started to gain popularity since it was somewhat introduced to windows 7.

I'm wondering if there are any alternatives to this for ubuntu/gnome?

If you mean the things like StickyKeys, Linux Mint (an ubuntu-based distribution) has those by default, but I don't know what program it is that does it unfortunately.
