I've been trying for nearly 3 days to copy settings from 1 account to another, my problem is I have multiple users who will use the desktop and they're familiar with Windows so I decided to setup my account to look how I want it by the following customizations:
Panel Changes
Main Menu Customizations
Theme Changes
gconf-editor adjustments
Font and other adjustments
I have read at least 7 or 8 similar posts from a google search in various message boards but none worked for me, they all said copy the hidden gnome folders from one account to the other but after several tries nothing worked.
I need to copy to 2 other accounts but more might be setup so it would be great if I could somehow get it to apply to new accounts as well.
I finally gave up and decided to write my own post. Help much appreciated
