Hi
I have saved all the updates in /var/cache/apt to use with another installation. This is very useful as I am on dial up & re-downloading over 100MB worth of updates would take ages.
How do I install these on a new system? I read man dpkg but I cannot see an upgrade command like the ones for slackware packkages or rpm's. I tried the site search but nothing came up. If this has been asked before I would be grateful for the URL.
Thanks
Guy
