I was needing some assistance with a couple things (this is in 10.04):
1: When the second monitor is hooked up and running, the windows maximize over both screens instead of just the screen the window is on. This was not the case (or at least the default) in 9.10.
2: Similar situation. The panels expand over both monitors, and once again this wasn't the case in 9.10.
3: For bonus, but I don't really care about it, does anyone know how to set each monitor to have its own background?
I am wondering if this was just a change in the default system code. I have tried everything in gconf editor. I am out of ideas. Also, I don't want to have two separate X screens, I would like to be using just the twinview option. Thanks ahead of time.
