View Full Version : [ubuntu] Grub problems after upgrade to 10.10

Hi,

I recently upgraged to 10.10, and it all worked fine until grub choaked after restart. I know this is a common story now. I searched the forums and booted from a live CD, uninstalled grub, then reinstalled it, but grub still fails to load. However, for some odd reason, if I go into the boot menu (I have a dell) and select my second hard drive, grub starts correctly.

I am dual booting Win7 and Ubuntu.

I've tried update-grub and I get the following:
