Compiz Rain

Hello.

I am having problems with the Rain plugin in Compiz.

Every time I try to use the keystroke, I wait and nothing happens. What can I do?

Graphics Card:

P.S. I heard that if there is no output to "glxinfo | grep fragment", that there is no hope. Is that true?

Or, is there a way to get the rain effect without using the pixel shading technology?

Is there at LEAST a replacement for the Rain Plugin without the shading??

Also, I dual-boot Wingdows on this machine, and it has pixel shading, and it works just fine.
