Access to Cell Phone

Hello,
Is there any way in Linux where I can access my LG Cookie GD510 phone under Linux and transfer files and SMS between Phone and PC. I need to Backup my data from Cell.

You should be able to do it via bluetooth, if you have a bluetooth adapter. Another option would be to save your phone settings to a flash card, then use a card reader to transfer the files to your computer. I don't know if that's possible on that phone. You really need to read the user manual that came with the phone.
