Hello there. After upgrade to Kubuntu 10.10, I can't activate opengl in the kwin rendering mode. I just can get Xrender, which I believe is much slowe.
I have a brand new Nvidia GT218 (Geforce 210) with the latest nvidia drivers installed. glxinfo works.
can anyone help me?
thanks

Maybe you need to disable functionality checks.

Maybe a clean install will help. Back up your data and format your home partition (to erase your config files) and then install kubuntu 10.10.

Why not just delete or rename the config files?
ex:
mv ~/.kde ~/.kde.bak
Formatting seems a bit extreme to me. And not everybody can backup all his data.
