ubuntu install recognize vista and transfer?

I'm wondering if ubuntu 10.10 32bit desktop will recognize a vista installation during the installation process and offer to transfer the documents to ubuntu.


I've installed previous versions of ubuntu that had this feature, but i'm having trouble finding documentation on that specific aspect.

I'm not sure if it will offer to transfer documents, but Linux can definitely mount NTFS (and FAT32) partitions, so you can get to them any time you want. Pick the Vista partition off the Places menu, for example.
