View Full Version : [ubuntu] VPNC Network Manager -> No Internet

October 20th, 2010, 04:50 PM
I decided to install ubuntu once again cause I was so fascinated about the special netbook version..
Anyway now I try to connect to the internet at my university which is only possible via VPN. So I installed the vpnc plugin for the network manager (university uses cisco) and I immediately got the wlan-connection and also the vpn-connection works.
But now when I try to browse the internet it doesn't work :(
Usually in windows i connect to the vpn, then set the proxy-settings in firefox, firefox asks me for my password and I'm online. In ubuntu firefox does nothing..........
I wonder what's the problem because about a year ago it worked perfectly..
Thanks all!
