setting Ubuntu for using it with widescreen TV

I am looking to use Ubuntu 10.10 only connected to my HD widescreen TV
and would like to know beast tweaks so it can be used easily
some thing like 10-foot user interface

bigger font
bigger icons
easy browser reading

is there any tutorial that summarize this?

Hi Natanel. Kind of late, but did you ever found a way? I just installed ubuntu as a Home Theater pc for the first time (I've always used laptops) and cannot find an answer.
