Hello, everyone.

A few days ago, i saw a beautiful thing in ubuntu. It was like a big screenlet, with very nice items organizing. No idea how is it called, but I can describe it, maybe some of you know it.
Menu is merged into one bar at the top. Instead of bars of opened programs, there are small icons of them, and a little right of them, there is a bar of an opened program. Desktop is basicly divided into 2 parts. On the left one, taking about 25% of the space is menu. Favorites, games, accessories, internet and so on. On the other half you can see what's in the category you opened.

Thank you for your help.

Sounds like you mean Unity, the new interface for netbooks and Ubuntu Light.
Check this link to see if it is,

Sorry, it is built specifically for 10.10 and it depends on lots of newer components that didn't exist when 9.04 was released.
The PPA for 10.04 (the LTS release) may work, too, but I don't think it's regularly maintained. That is available at https://edge.launchpad.net/~canonical-dx-team/+archive/une?field.series_filter=lucid

Is there a particular reason you're still using 9.04? It's going to run out of support in a while (which means no more security & stability updates).

Is it only for netbook versions, or can I get it for my PC while installing from a requested CD?
