Hi all - using an open-iscsi setup, I have successfully been using 10.04 for over 6 months now. My desktop works in a diskless fashion as an iscsi initiator. The server/target exposes a lvm disk which holds the 10.04 partition which is used by the initator (desktop system).
I have tried to upgrade to 10.10 - but during upgrade process open-iscsi is restarted which causes the diskless desktop to die. Does anyone know how to upgrade a open-iscsi 10.04 desktop environment to 10.10?
