Best desktop widgets for ubuntu 10.10

Upon setting the 10.10, I discovered most of the gDesklets don't run on it. Seeing here also a bunch of complaints about Screenlets. So, is there any other stable nice widget manager for 10.10? Or it's worth to try out the Screenlets?

Did you try Google Gadgets, from the Ubuntu Software Center?

Thank you, just tried it out, and I like it =)

P.S. Though, I find lack of 3rd party widgets support inconvenient. For example, I haven't found the way how to run my own gadgets on desktop.
