Hi All,
I was trying to reconfigure all my packages on my new ubuntu 10.10 using this command
sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh -a
But I got this error
dpkg-maintscript-helper: error: environment variable DPKG_MAINTSCRIPT_NAME is required
I tried to google it but I didn't get anything useful plus all what I get was for debian and they were talking about using "several maintainer scripts (preinst, postinst, prerm, postrm)". I don't know these scripts and where they are found
I tried to set the environmental variable DPKG_MAINTSCRIPT_NAME by these scripts by turn but useless!
