Already know ruby well. Don't know python yet. Should I invest my time in learning a new language. Is there anything that can not be done by ruby which can be done by python?
I also know java and c.

I think Youtube uses Python too. A subdomain on my website also uses Python. Personally, I love Python just because of Django.

Because Python is the Standard. (http://refspecs.freestandards.org/LSB_4.0.0/LSB-Languages/LSB-Languages/python.html)

I think you should learn any language you feel like learning. Don't learn languages just because other people are learning them, learn new languages because they solve a problem that you can't solve easily without them.
