Hello there, ubuntu gurus!
I was wondering, whether there is a way to install an old x-server on fresh Ubuntu 10.10. I need it for my work (kind of an old software using the MIT-XSHM extension), but on the other hand I don't want all my software to be old as hills :)
So now I'm using Debian stable with xserver-xorg-1.6 from snapshot.debian.org, but I want my Ubuntu back :)
Would debian packet by any chance work under Ubuntu Maverick?
Or is there another way to install it?
