Hello Everybody,
I have been asked to do a very simple research project for my technical communications class. I have chosen to use Linux as my topic. One problem, Linux is a very broad category. I need to refine my topic and am looking for some suggestions.
Some ideas I have thought of:
Linux Kernel Growth/Development
History of Linux
Linux in the workplace
Linux as a desktop OS.
Any suggestions/feedback for a topic would be greatly appreciated. This is purely a research project. I don't need to prove anything I just need to present research findings in a specified format. This a college course, albeit a very easy one.
Thanks in advance

Here's an interesting one that tends to be a bit more controversial. How about the economics of Linux and Free Open Source Software (FOSS).

Interesting. Do you mean how FOSS and Linux generate revenue? and who profits from it?
could you elaborate.
Thanks for the reply:)
