I got 10.10's Unity theme up and running on my dinky netbook yesterday. It's . . . interesting.
The topmost button of the launcher on the left edge of the screen is "Install Release." Launching it does not provide details of what it wants to do, but early on it asks to unmount partitions on /dev/sda and I figured whatever the heck Install Release is probably not trivial. So I've not gone farther than that.
Anyone know what that application does?
