View Full Version : [ubuntu] Evolution: mass forward mails

Hello everyone

I have a POP3 email address that I'm going to get rid of. I have 606 mails stored on my computer (using Evolution) that makes around 150 Mb of emails. Now I want to transfer all those emails to a gmail account so I can continue to use that one as a IMAP-emailaddress.

Now I want to mail all my 606 emails to my gmail account so I can still access them as a sort of archive. I tried selecting a bunch of emails and then forwarding them to my gmail but it then combines all the emails in one email, which isn't that handy as an archive I reckon.

Is there anyway to forward those emails one by one, but NOT by doing it manually?

Thank you!
Jonas

Damn, I can't delete my thread. But I found a way! I select my mails and then use 'Copy to...' and then copy them to a folder I made on my gmailaccount in Evolution. It then slowly (but steady) copies my emails via the internet on my gmail account.

Evolution amazes me again!

Sorry for this thread.
