View Full Version : [SOLVED] error while updating 10.10

I upgraded my ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 after its release. It was working fine. But today I saw its giving an error while upgrading. I am not very much efficient in ubuntu so cant understand why this error is. It is giving as
failed to download repository information. please check your internet connection. But my internet is working fine. Please expalin me this error & way to correct it.

, E:Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

if you use ppa, you might understand what you are doing :confused:

there is no /team-xbmc/maverick, only for previous releases

You can disable the problematic PPAs from Synaptic under Settings > Repositories > Other Software and try again.

I did so...and it worked..But I hope it will not trouble my ubuntu further
