Hello!
I figured out long ago how to change the background image and theme in GDM. It's not that difficult. But I have been suffering forever over how to change the image that is in the login box, directly above my name. I want it to show an Ubuntu or Gnome logo, but right now it just shows a blue box. I can't figure out how to do it, and because I want to learn how this stuff works,I don't want to use a third-party tool such as ubuntu tweaks. Does anybody out there know how to do it? Thank you so much.

Bump. Do you know what I'm talking about? I mean the "greeter icon," as they call it in gconf-editor. When I change the name in gconf-editor, it doesn't seem to have any effect on the icon that appears.
