Installed Ubuntu 10.10 eeePC 900

I have it installed but when I restarted it it says "the symbol "grub_sputs" not found.
grub rescue>

I am not sure where to go. My first thought is to reinstall 10.10 again, but maybe someone here has a better idea.

Any thoughts please?????

I installed to an eeepc900 and don't see this happening. Did you use USB flash drive or an external USB cdrom? I used a USB flash drive. But that much shouldn't matter, anyway. You certainly won't lose much by redoing the install at this point just to see if it was some glitch.

I just went to updates on my 900 eee PC. it brought up that a new update is available. So I downloaded like any other program update. I have done this before and it worked find before. I will try to reinstall it.
