given that most people, from the moans, seemed to object to moving the default min/max/close icons in 10.04 to the left. why has this "feature" been carried forward to 10.10?
was there some commercial reason for this?
or was it done simply to get up peoples noses and encourage users to try other distro's?
is there a problem with doing what your users would seem to prefer?

The long term canonical design from 10.04 was to move the default buttons to the left, so as to make room on the right for the "window indicators".
