i've ubuntu 10.04 installed on my system which has fairly good h/w. i also have win XP installed on this machine which boots fast.
so i tried to track down this issue...
i installed bootchart and saw (PFA the output of bootchart) that actual boot process starts after 120s.
is it because i installed ubuntu on /dev/sda10? how can i improve the boot time?
i have also attached the sample bootchart output from bootchart site.
