I upgraded from 10.4 to 10.10 as soon as it became available and the first problem I noticed is that "Install" does not function in Update Manager.

So, since the upgrade I can only install in Terminal.

Where or how do I place bug reports????

Or IS this a bug????

Similar problem here.

The update manager pops up, shows me a bunch of stuff to upgrade. I select them, and hit "install updates".

The dialogue opens saying "reading package information". Then it closes and the update manager still shows the same packages.

If I remember correctly it should ask me for the sudo password before installing.

sudo apt-get seems to work at the command line.

Any ideas for this?

At this point I'm just beginning to prepare for a FRESH install of Ubuntu 11.04. Fortunately, I have two hard drives, one of which still contains a Windows XP install. Once I move the DATA I want to save from that drive it will be free for the next Ubuntu.

My Computer Janitor ALSO does not work after my upgrade to 10.10. Aside from that, though, everything's fine.
