I have a problem installing Ubuntu. I've tried several times today, but it keeps stopping at the "who are you part?" saying "Ready when you are..." with the forward button greyed out. This has happened on 2 cd-r, a dvd-rw, and flash drive. I've tried different write speeds (10x, 6x, 5x, 4x), also 32-bit and 64-bit o.s.
I'm a first time user and would love to use Ubuntu, but this is not a good start.
Please help.
Thanks,
Andrew

I am stuck in this installation part as well. I filled in all the proper details and the "Foward" button is still greyed out.

Even though I installed it WITH my OS, the stupid UBUNTU erased my whole hard drive and my OS!!!!
Now I lost my files and my original OS. (Or so it seems - I can't boot windows at all....) Now I'm stuck with this OS that is STILL running on a CD.
A big mistake thinking ubuntu would be better. >:( I am mad. And I'm sorry. lol
