Gallium (mesa)

Has anyone tried the gallium mesa drivers?
for some reason, their REALLY laggy when enabling desktop effects (kwin), but im not sure if its KDE 4.5 (svn) thats making it laggy (this happened when using the mesa svn) or if its laggy in the first place.

Are you talking "radeon with gallium", "intel with gallium" or "nvidia with gallium"?
