Kubuntu 10.10. Upgraded by a fresh install just this morning.

My entire firefox window appears dark. Not just the images or just the pages but even the window decorations. Here's but one example:

The bottom is the correct rendering (in Rekonq) while the top of the darker version Firefox is giving me.

At first I thought I had changed some weird graphic setting, but I set everything I could back to default and still no dice. It's not a problem with firefox itself as reinstalling and with fresh profile doesn't work.

Any ideas?

The top part looks better to me :)

But if it only happens in firefox, and it even affects window borders of firefox, and not other apps, then you probably have a KDE equivalent of the compiz' colour filter misconfigured. Im sorry I cant be more help as I dont know or use KDE, but I think its called Kwin effects.

Oxygen KDE firefox theme! (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59338/)

This may help!
