Im trying to install Ubuntu on my Acer Laptop, but install freezes without any warning.
Even the Live Ubuntu freezes.
After select the language, it shows the Logo and the 5 "dots" loading. After a while, It Freezes completely.
I've tried 10.04 and 10.10 32bits, and 10.10 Netbook 32bits.
All of them stops exactly at the same point.
acpi=off and noapic makes no difference.
Debian 5.0 was able to install Flawless on the same machine.
Anyone has any idea to work around this problem?
